Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about the latest buzz around the topic of AI replacing copywriters. The reason for this is that it’s now possible to write persuasive, interesting, and creative copy without the need for a human to do it.
AI can emulate human intelligence
During this research, I examined how media coverage of artificial intelligence (AI) portrayed human-AI interaction in South Africa. This involved studying articles that were published in four South African online newspapers. Specifically, I looked for anthropomorphism and framing in these articles.
The study revealed that articles that discussed human-AI interactions framed AI in a number of contradictory terms. The frames were derived from morality, ethics, and accountability. These frames evoked social anthropomorphism. In other words, these articles elicited a sense of awe and empathy towards the technology.
The anthropomorphism evoking AI in South African news articles was both social and cognitive. These anthropomorphisms elicited a sense of the technologies’ ability to imitate human traits. This was partly derived from science fiction literature and speculative fiction.
The majority of articles that evoked social anthropomorphism elicited a sense of humanity’s benefit from AI. Some articles portrayed AI as taking jobs away from humans, while others referred to AI as having the ability to kill humans.
A few articles, including the Daily Maverick, the Mail & Guardian Online, and the Citizen, portrayed AI in a sensationalist manner. These included an article on autonomous weapons and a story on killer robots.
Some articles did not use anthropomorphism, although these articles did not discuss the differences between humans and AI. In other words, these articles did not address the possibility that a superintelligence could be created, nor did they make assurances that AI cannot yet replace human intelligence.
A total of 32 articles that portrayed AI in a socially or cognitively anthropomorphic way were found. Only five articles did not use anthropomorphism.
Of the 32 articles that did evoke social anthropomorphism, six did not mention that humans could be replaced by AI. The other articles featured articles about healthcare and medicine.
AI can write persuasively and creatively
Using an AI writing tool will help you produce better quality content, save you time and money, and make you more productive as a whole. It will also likely increase your site’s search engine ranking.
You’ll be happy to know that many companies, from Google to Facebook to LinkedIn have taken the plunge. Using these tools to your advantage will pay dividends in the form of improved traffic, more leads, and better customer service. Besides, you can’t afford to have a human writer write your content, right?
It is no secret that many businesses are on a tight budget. They can’t afford to hire a professional writer, so they rely on low quality content produced by automated tools. This aforementioned technology will help you avert a business disaster, as well as boost your productivity. In short, it’s the most efficient way to get your name out there in the virtual world.
It also has to do with the fact that many businesses are already using AI technology, and the best way to take full advantage of it is to integrate it into their existing systems. This will enable you to use it to improve your communication and content creation processes, thereby enhancing customer engagement and overall customer satisfaction. It will also ensure that you are always one step ahead of the competition.
With AI technology at the forefront of your mind, you can rest assured that you will be on the cutting edge of your industry. With the right technology in place, you’ll be able to keep your current customers and attract new ones, without breaking the bank. This will result in more sales, more customers, and more satisfied employees.
AI can help you write product ad copy that converts
Using artificial intelligence (AI) to write product ad copy that converts can improve your business’s performance. Whether you’re a small business looking to boost conversions or a Fortune 500 company, AI can help you craft marketing copy that is both powerful and effective.
There are several tools available to help you do this. Some of them will write your copy for you, while others will generate marketing ideas. Which one will work best for you depends on your needs.
Jasper Ai is an artificial intelligence writing tool that helps you create web content and marketing copy. You can build copy from a single dashboard and adjust its word count depending on your budget. It can also serve as a voiceover generator. The more you use it, the better it gets. The more you train it, the more it can write factual statements and bullet points.
It’s a great way to automate some of the most mundane tasks in your content creation pipeline. You can generate landing pages, Facebook ads, and even blog posts. The tool is designed to maximize the chances of your content ranking well in search engines. It’s an excellent choice for marketers who want to cut down on their writing time.
It’s also a good idea to choose an AI tool that will allow you to see how well it can generate copy. The tool may not be the most creative, but it will ensure that your text is correctly written and follows grammar rules.
For example, a good AI tool can automatically create a headline or a marketing concept, while an inferior option might only generate a draft or a sentence. You can then spend your own time fine-tuning the results.
AI can save you money by not having to hire additional writers
Using AI can save you a lot of time and money, and it’s becoming increasingly important for companies that want to boost conversions. These tools can streamline the content creation process, ensuring that the copy is written well and adheres to grammar rules.
Jasper is one of the most popular AI copywriting tools. The tool is great for creating high-converting copy, as it can complete hours of writing in seconds. It can also be used for proofreading and editing. You can run the tool through Grammarly, Surfer, or Copyscape.
Whether you’re writing for social media or an eCommerce website, there’s a variety of different AI writing tools available to help you. These tools can produce ad copy, blog posts, product descriptions, and video titles. Some even have tools to generate social captions and intros.
Writesonic is another popular AI writing tool. It is ideal for short form content, like blog posts or ads. It can create unique product descriptions in as little as 30 seconds. You can generate up to 50,000 words per month, or you can purchase a premium plan. It includes a number of features, including premium community support and a custom use case.
ClosersCopy is another AI writing tool that works well. It has a lot of great features, but it’s not as advanced as Jasper. The tool can turn a black word doc into a complete blog post. However, it may take longer for the AI to write the content.
Rytr is a newer tool that can produce high-quality content in seconds. It has a simple and straightforward interface that is easy to use. It offers 20 different use cases, so you can choose what kind of content you need. You can also use it to brainstorm ideas.
AI can’t understand — and therefore replicate — human emotion
Getting an AI to feel human emotions is not an easy feat. In fact, the technology required to do so is still in its infancy. This is not to say that the machine can’t do it.
For starters, an AI can’t replicate a human emotion, but it can learn them. The key is in knowing which ones to emulate. Thankfully, there are companies that are well on their way to achieving this feat. These include Affectiva, a Boston-based startup. They specialize in advertising and automotive AI, and have worked with 25 percent of the Fortune 500.
For example, a machine can recognize a human’s inflections of anger and recognize a human’s stress level. It can even detect the presence of a person’s heartbeat and release a scent to help them adjust.
The same technology can also detect subtle facial expressions and analyze a face’s photos. In fact, a team at the MIT Media Lab has developed a wearable device that monitors a person’s heartbeat, releases a scent to help them adjust and provides an emotional response.
The best part is that the device is not too expensive to produce. Aside from being able to detect emotions, a robot with these capabilities could be programmed to do a multitude of tasks including delivering flowers to a hospitalized patient. It could even be programmed to mimic a human’s gestures and speak in humans’ language. It may not be long before artificial humans are a thing of the past.
In the end, it’s up to us to decide whether or not an AI’s capabilities are a good thing. In the same way that we would never allow a robot to kill a human, we should also be extremely careful with the technology that will eventually be used in our homes.
